Windows 7 Professional SP1 32bit (Full) System Builder DVD 3 Pack ReviewThe three-pack kits are fine, but at this time (January 2012), if you order a DVD 3-Pack from Amazon Direct, you are likely to receive only one (1) of the units and licenses. After the first such mistake, I opted for a return and exchange (including a detailed explanation of the error with the return form) and received - yes, you guessed, - yet another single-unit shipment (at the triple unit price).
Microsoft has unfortunately put the same End Item PN: FQC-04696 on both the individual DVD slip covers and the 3-unit, 3-Pack carton.
Make sure you are getting a full, corrugated brown MS Carton with 3 units per box, NOT JUST an individual DVD in a white slip-cover with only 1 unit per box.
Amazon customer assistance was polite and efficient, but recommended I return both partial shipments for a refund and cancel my order altogether as they couldn't guarantee delivery of a 3-pack if I was to try the same vendor (Amazon Direct) again.
Particularly frustrating, as I had made two prior orders (same item, same vendor) with no problem.....
