Adobe CS5.5 Design Premium ReviewI like the product and I have purchased Adobe products for a long time. They are very, very expensive but overall usually quality products.
The fact that CS5.5 has so may issues integrating with CS5 really, really, really (did I say really) upsets me. I have one version of CS5 on one computer at work and one version of CS5.5 on another computer at home. On some applications I run into compatibility issues where Adobe has not made 5.5 compatible with 5.0 (plenty about this if you care to Google this issue). Given that I have spent $1800 per copy, this infuriates me!
Stupid me thought that "common sense" would dictate that 5.5 would be compatible with 5.0. It is sometimes, but way too often the applications are not.
Even if you personally only work with one version, be careful if you have to share files with others.
If not for the incompatibilities with CS5 I would probably give it 5 stars.Adobe CS5.5 Design Premium Overview
