CorelDRAW Graphics Suite X4 Home & Student Edition ReviewI'm a PC user and have used PhotoShop CS2 and PhotoShop Elements and find them really hard to use. The controls are very small and hard to find, everything is iconic with no description available. You have to read a book to find out what each icon means.
Also PhotoShop is overpriced (USD $1000 for the Ultra version) so I have been using Gimp for photo editing. But Corel DRAW and Corel Photo Paint beat them both in the Price/Performance ratio. Its way more intuitive to use than both Gimp and PhotoShop (at least for a PC user). Tools are easy to find, without reading any manual I got myself doing masks, color adjustments, etc. The digital filter gallery in PhotoShop is more professional, as if the algorithms yielded a smother quality and surely there are tons of plugin filters out there.
