Serif DrawPlus X4 ReviewI bought Webplus X4 from Amazon. I loved it so much I bought PagePlus X5 and now DrawPlus X4. I'm very satisfied with all Serif's products. I was using Adobe CS4, but since getting into Serif products I don't bother with Adobe anymore except for video editing.
I run an online business on the side, so I have very limited time to learn, create and update my website. DrawPlus X4 is perfect for entreprenuers that use WebPlus X4, because it alows you to add very professional looking banners and flash graphics that take you very close to what you can build in Adobe in a fraction of the time. Time is money so this product can pay for itself very quickly if you're a casual user like me.
I'd say DrawPlus X4 has about 85% of the features you'll find in Adobe. You'll likely never use all the features in Adobe or DrawPlus, unless you're a graphic artist. In that case you're probably sitting infront of a Mac playing with CS5.
The instructions and video tutorials are super simple to learn. I wish they had more pre-made themes, but overall the quantity included is okay and more importantly give you examples of what is possible. The selection of Logo's is impressive in the logo maker. I've designed logo's for other people to rave reviews. If you use WebPlus X4, this is must buy to take your site to the next level. At DrawPlus X4's price, this is an easy buy decision. Worst case you have an amazing logo maker.
