Mavis Beacon Teaches Typing 18 ReviewI thought it was a fairly good product. It was easy and fun to use, it was more like a kid's computer game than an adult product. Which could be a good or bad thing depending on your preferences. It did help me learn to type better I'm at 47 words a minute verses the 18 when I started. It has a Spanish language mode and even teaches you the numeric keys. So all in all I give it a 4 out of 5.Mavis Beacon Teaches Typing 18 Overview

Mavis Beacon Teaches Typing Deluxe 20 ReviewI'm a Sys Admin. I have XP w/more than the minimum requirements. My PC boots in < 45 seconds. It's clean. I tried EVERYTHING I could per Mavis Beacon's KB / Support site. THEY HAVE NO SOFTWARE SUPPORT to even write to, let along call!!! Per their support site, I tried various run-as modes (as Admin) on my PC; I tried various Compatibility Modes; I even DISABLED everything (except AV software) at start-up via 'MSConfig' utility, where the product installed but I kept getting an error w/either Data1.cab file or video. I searched for just 'data1' and 'data1.cab' errors and found nothing. Again, my PC is new (not X64.) The pkg says the software is for XP too. I'm never buying software from any company that doesn't have, at least, email support. Their position on customer support is rediculuous! Wanna see what I mean - Call 1-800-395-0277, then Press 2, and just listen how many times they tell you to use their website for support. Then, you're told to 'have a great day' and they disconnect you. Oh, yea, and try to write to them. Pathetic!!!Mavis Beacon Teaches Typing Deluxe 20 OverviewMavis Beacon V20 Deluxe

MAVIS BEACON TEACHES TYPING 21 DELUXE JC (WIN XP,VISTA,WIN 7/MAC 10.1 OR LATER) ReviewDelivered on time and as promised. Installed easily, but once it was installed the initial run sequence askes for password to run. Literally first screen is password protected. Tried running it as admin, teacher, student, etc. makes no difference. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling. Same problem. Running on Windows 7. Guess I'll be reviewing the return process in a little while.MAVIS BEACON TEACHES TYPING 21 DELUXE JC (WIN XP,VISTA,WIN 7/MAC 10.1 OR LATER) Overview
