Adobe Creative Suite 5 Design Premium Student & Teacher Edition ReviewI ordered this at the student/teacher price. Upon installing, they asked for proof that I was a student or a teacher. Every document and identifcation I sent them was rejected. I am working on my Master's Degree and am a teacher at a vocational school. Despite this, I couldn't provide them with anything they would accept as proof. I got tired of trying and sent the software back to Amazon. However, I was only refunded half of the purchase price because they said it was open software. I didn't return it because I changed my mind. I returned it because the program could not be activated due to Amazon's unreasonable requests for more and more documentation. At one point they asked for a letter from my employer. I'm not going to ask my employer to write a letter to Amazon so that I can use a program I bought for myself! My ID card and other documents weren't good enough. And, if I'd have known they were only going to refund HALF of my money, I could have sold it on eBay. What's even more frustrating is that there seems to be no place on the Amazon site to contest the refund amount. There is an endless loop of links for information about returns, but no way to contact them and protest.
If you are trying to pay the student/teacher price, buy it somewhere else.
